COURSE DESCRIPTION

This six-day intensive, evidence-based course is designed for physiotherapists who have completed an Introductory Vestibular Rehabilitation course and are seeking to consolidate and advance their practice. Through a structured combination of lectures, hands-on practicums, simulated patients, live patient sessions, and competency-based assessment, participants will develop advanced clinical reasoning and practical skills to confidently assess, treat, and manage people presenting with dizziness and imbalance.

This is the only competency-based vestibular rehabilitation course in Australia that incorporates supervised patient interactions, supporting translation of evidence into diverse clinical service delivery models while strengthening participants’ applied clinical skills.

Our Australian-based Faculty bring more than 100 years of combined experience across vestibular, neurological, and geriatric physiotherapy. Each faculty member has advanced clinical expertise in the management of vestibular disorders and is actively involved in teaching and research. The program is further enriched by Advanced Clinicians and Medical Specialists with expertise in the assessment and management of dizziness and balance disorders.
